Dr. Elena Simina Lakatos is President and CEO of Center for Innovation and Organizational Sustainability starting 2012. Simina has economical and technical knowledge, abilities and experience. She holds a B.A. in Economics (2007) and a B.A. with “Honor Diploma” from Faculty of Materials and Environmental Engineering, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca (2010) and she is Dr. in Engineering and Management (2012), her PhD thesis on Corporate Social Responsibility – Partnerships between Businesses and NGOs for Company Sustainability, with focus on SMEs and NGOs, was conducted in co-guardianship between the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania and the University Oulu, Finland.
Simina is a founding member of CIOS and she has mandate to legally represent CIOS since its founding, in September 2012. In 2011, Simina becomes part of the Department of Management and Economical Engineering of Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, being involved mainly in the following areas of research and teaching: Strategic management, Enterprise Assessment and Marketing and International Management, direction that helps her to develop the CIOS. Moreover, Simina followed a series of courses and specializations in fields such as: leadership, communication and human resources. She is also experienced in the project management and administration.
Also, from 2014, she is the Adjunct Professor at the Department of Management and Economical Engineering as well as Financing Administrative Director at the Faculty of Machine Building, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
